tribes \u2013 from which this wine takes its name, was cited by Pliny the Elder as one of the<br \/>\nfifty-three communities of Ancient Latium.<\/p>\n<p>It may have belonged to the Latin League which rose to power in the region around the VII century B.C. and which in its heyday wielded power to rival<br \/>\nthat of Rome.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:1%;margin-bottom:3%;width:100%;max-width:35%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"23\" data-lineheight=\"32.2px\">GRAPE VARIETIES AND VINIFICATION TECHNIQUE<\/h3>\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\">\n<p>A ros\u00e9 wine made from Syrah and Sangiovese.<\/p>\n<p>The dark-skinned red grapes are gently crushed and left to stand in stainless steel tanks for several hours. After this initial period of cold maceration on the skins at 8-10\u00b0C, some of the juice is drained (or \u2018bled\u2019) from the tanks and fermented separately, a process known as \u2018saign\u00e9e\u2019 (from the French \u2018saigner\u2019, to bleed).<\/p>\n<p>Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a temperature of around 18\u00b0C for 8-10 days.<\/p>\n<p>The resulting ros\u00e9 wine is rich, with a vibrant personality, faithful to the floral and fruity aromas typical of the best ros\u00e9s but with enough body to challenge many a red.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:1%;margin-bottom:3%;width:100%;max-width:35%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"23\" data-lineheight=\"32.2px\">TASTING NOTE<\/h3>\n<p>The colour of deep pink roses with a violet tinge, Albiola presents an aroma of small woodland berries, dominated by raspberry and wild strawberry.
