SUSTAINABILITY

Casale del Giglio is a family dream come true, thanks to the pursuit of a viticultural and oenological path that we deemed right for us, for our collaborators and for our territory.  Over time, this path has led to our achieving some of the sector’s best known certifications on the theme of sustainability, and most recently, the Equalitas Certification.

This approach  is consistent with our business choices. In fact, the Equalitas Standard, with its   three “pillars” of sustainability, not only the environmental (which often gets the most attention) but also the economic and ethical/social, addresses the entire wine supply chain. It fully reflects the values we believe in and that have always accompanied our business, thus charting a path towards sustainability in continuous evolution.

SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Our Sustainability Report details the  results we have achieved so far, and succeeds, we hope, in  conveying  all our commitment and passion.

INTERVIEW WITH ANTONIO SANTARELLI

We simply cannot imagine an approach that is not sustainable, that does not  start from absolute respect for the land that sustains the grapes we use to make our wines, that does not invest in  those resources (energy, human, technological) that we believe are essential to guarantee the quality we expect  from our production.

[…]

Wine research and experimentation are the lifeblood of our company;  we will  therefore continue to study and invest to improve it and make it ever more sustainable.
